2nd All-Shillong Interschool Swimming Championship 2026

Open to students of schools within Shillong, up to Class 12.

• Championship date: 24 October 2026.
• Last date of form submission: 14 October 2026.
• All events are on a time-trial basis — there are no heats-to-finals. Places are decided on time across all heats of your age group.
• Up to 5 individual events per swimmer (relays not counted).
• Groups A and B may enter events 1–4 only (25m Freestyle, 25m Breaststroke, 50m Freestyle, 50m Breaststroke).

Age groups

• Group A — born 2018, 2019
• Group B — born 2016, 2017
• Group C — born 2014, 2015
• Group D — born 2012, 2013
• Group E — born 2010, 2011
• Group F — born 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009

Relays

• All relay teams must have 4 students.
• Relay I (4x25m Freestyle): teams from Groups A and B combined only.
• Relay II (4x50m Freestyle): Groups C to F; inter-group teams (Groups C–F) are permitted.

General instructions

1. Proper swimsuits, caps, and goggles must be worn.
2. Participants must know the proper stroke for the events they choose.
3. False starts, lane violations, or unsportsmanlike conduct will lead to disqualification.
4. No events can be added on the day. The organising committee’s decision is final and binding in all matters.
5. Participants must be medically fit to swim. Organisers are not responsible for injuries due to pre-existing conditions.
6. Participants must be punctual and disciplined throughout the championship.
7. Events with fewer than 2 participants may be cancelled.
8. A copy of the birth certificate and school ID must be attached, and the form must carry the signature of the Principal / Faculty-in-charge or the school stamp.

We declare that the information provided about our ward is true and correct to the best of our knowledge. We have read and understood the rules and regulations and agree to abide by them. We consent to our ward participating in the championship and representing the institution on 24 October 2026.
